Some Polka Dot and Gingham "Pinspiration"

One of my favorite Pinterest boards is my Color Inspiration and Fonts board.  I love to just look through it to get ideas for cards.

The other day I saw THIS pin and wanted to make a card that used the colors and patterns in this photo.  I had the idea to use CTMH Sky blue cardstock and run in through the Cuttlebug swiss dot folder then sand it to show the white instant polka dot!

I decided to use pink in the ribbon and some deep red roses.  What do you think?  Was this a successful pinspiration??  :)

Supplies used:  all CTMH unless noted
Paper: Sky CS, White Daisy CS
Ink: Cranberry (first and second generation) Pear, Sky
Stamps: Cricut Artiste Collection Word Balloons (D1531), Floral Happiness (S1303)
Other:  Micro Tip Scissors, gingham ribbon (Hobby Lobby), edge distressor, foam tape, sanding block
