Mini Stamp Thank You

I had one more teacher thank you card to make.  I have to say this "Thank You" mini stamp is so handy!  It's easy to read and you can even stamp it on patterned paper.

I used Skylark papers again and some adhesive pearls.

I hope you all are enjoying the beginning of a lovely and relaxing summer season!

Teacher Thank You Cards

Hello!

Today I made two cards for my daughter's teachers.  I always like to do an end-of-year gift and write a note to let them know how much I've appreciated them.  We have been so blessed to have had amazing teachers every year.  I hope that continues!

This first card uses the lovely Skylark papers.  Again and again I find myself so happy that Close To My Heart has everything coordinated.  It makes creating so much faster and easier!!

I always lean towards simple designs, but I do love to add a little extra now and then...like the tiny pearls in this card.

Thanks for stopping by!

End Of Year Teacher's Card

Another school year is coming to a close...eight days, but who's counting??

I can hardly wait for summer's lazy days!  I know teachers probably can't wait either.  I have always given an end of school gift to Delaney's teacher.  This year (same theme as last year) I am doing a beach bag filled with beach towel, flip flops, sunscreen, aloe vera gel, Off! spray, decks of cards and I am planning on throwing in an Amazon gift card.

So today I sat down to make a card for Delaney to write in....here's what I came up with.

Does it have a beachy theme??  :)  I also used the swiping technique on the flower.

Have a great weekend!

Boo Wreath and Hot Air Balloon Card

I have been really working on getting things ready to kick off my very first Home Gathering.  I finally finished my display board and a home decor item.  Here's part of the display board.  Those little treat cups make the cutest cards.  The ice cream cone is from the kit and is SUPER fast to put together.  The other using the treat cup and Artiste cartridge to create a hot air balloon and clouds.  Neat how you can use the so-called Halloween papers to create something not at all spooky!

My home decor project was a wreath.  I wanted to showcase the Mini Banner and the rosettes!

Two More {Clementine} Cards

Well I ended up making two more cards to go with my card set from yesterday.  Here they are.

These cards use the same products as yesterday's with the addition of Creme Brulee baker's twine.

See you soon!

New and Old {First FB Drawing}

I did a little drawing on my Facebook page for people who "liked" my page.  The winner chose a card set as her prize and here are of a few of the cards she'll be receiving.

The first card is using the beautiful Lucy papers.  And if you like these papers you need to grab them before August 1st!  For this card I stamped on the brand new canvas shapes with our new pigment ink.  It works beautifully!

The second card is my favorite.  I am loving the new Flirty papers--and silly me--I didn't even order this set!!  I will have to amend that!

And this final one is made using almost all retired product.  {{Sorry}}  I just went for the masculine stamp and that's how it came together.  The inside is stamped with a Happy Birthday sentiment.

I hope the contest recipient enjoys them.  I made the embellishments/layering pretty flat:  A. I'm shipping them to an Air Force base in Germany, and B. If she wants to mail them she probably will need them to be flat also.

Thanks for stopping by!
